What is Restorative Yoga?
Come to discover……
It’s not about stretching.

Restorative Yoga is a sacred pause —
A quiet revolution, in a world that never stops moving.
In this practice, we don’t push or pull or strive.

We settle.
We nest.
We soften.
Supported by blankets, bolsters, and deep stillness, the body finds safety again.
And when the body feels safe… it heals.

Science tells us that Restorative Yoga shifts us into the parasympathetic nervous system — the healing branch, where rest, digestion, and repair happen.
⚡️Brain waves slow.
⚡️Stress hormone reduces.
⚡️The heart rate steadies.
⚡️And we return to homeostasis — balance.

But beyond the science…
Something else happens.🤍
The mind quiets.
The breath deepens.
And the soul whispers:
“Welcome home.”
You don’t need flexibility.

We began our Wintering ReTREAT with a personal intention, a deep truth, a longing from within.

No fixing.
Just remembrance.
A Sankalpa is not a goal — it is a vow to your soul. A devotion to return to your center, again and again.
