Supporting great initiatives with partners

Today we conducted a workshop on GBV, linking social ills that perpetuate GBV such as power dynamics, substance abuse, history of abuse and many more and their effects.

The youth of Ipelegeng attended with enthusiasm and lots of interest. They managed to create their advocacy plans which we looking forward to seeing them happen. Their creativity, knowledge gained and passion for wanting to make a difference will definatly go along way.

We promised to support and try to link them to their key partners which they want to work with to achieve the goals set.

We partnered with the Department of Education in training Educators from 46 schools in Dr RSM, primary and high schools. Where we focused on Peer Education programmes: Keeping Girls In Schools (KGIS), Keeping Boys In School (KBIS), Radically Different Species (RADS) and Soul Buddy's.

These programmes endorse our Changemaker Network programme, GEARUP4AGYW programme and Peer Influencer programme.

Looking forward to working with all these schools

As we painted Bloemhof pink with care and love, promoting awareness on human trafficking, child protection, GBV and substance abuse.

Ruth-K Foundation has done it again. We were in Bloemhof, had a dialogue - topic: raising a girl and boy child, with regards to GBV, Human trafficking, substance abuse and gangsterism
