Yesterday, South Africans honored Mandela Day by spending 67 minutes doing charitable work. Our residents and staff chose to use their 67 minutes to decorate party packs for the kids in District 49. It was heartwarming to see the joy on their faces as they participated in this act of kindness.

The Home Residents Committee and staff visited District 49 to distribute party packs to 30 children. Our residents were filled with joy knowing they were able to make a difference in the lives of these young ones, by using their unique talent in making up of gift bags with goodies supplied by the Home together with sponsored balloons and fruits. Thank you to our sponsors, residents and staff for your support to this worthy cause.
