All stages of development are vital for a child to have the right building blocks for future physical competence but one stage seems to be disproportionately jam packed with benefits and that is CRAWLING. The picture below is just a drop in the ocean of what is achieved and consolidated during crawling.

Side note: these benefits are only fully received if the child is doing reciprocal crawling on all fours i.e. weighbearing on both hands and knees.

Although the weather may seem chilly, the pool is warm, and the swimmers are happy to be in it. The perfect way to spend my birthday... in my happy place with my fishies :)😍
