Scripture consistently shows that God is not passive—He actively reveals His power, mercy, and glory through His works across all generations.

In the Old Testament, His wonders were often unmistakable and public… the parting of the Red Sea, manna from heaven, fire from Mount Carmel. These weren’t random displays—they revealed His character, upheld His covenant, and pointed to His authority over creation.

But it doesn’t stop there. The same God still works today… not always in ways that are as visibly dramatic, but just as real and purposeful. The greatest ongoing wonder isn’t just physical miracles—it’s the transformation of hearts. Dead sinners made alive, rebellious hearts softened, people drawn to Christ… that is a work only God can do.

As it says in Psalm 111:4, “He has caused His wondrous works to be remembered; the Lord is gracious and merciful.”

His works are meant to lead us to remember Him… to trust Him… and to worship Him.

And if you look closely, you’ll see… His wonders were never just about the moment—they were always pointing forward… ultimately to Christ, the greatest revelation of God’s power and grace.

Your true treasures are in heaven… this world is only temporary, everything here fades and decays, you cannot take any of it with you when you leave… so don’t build your life around what won’t last, build it around what is eternal.

The Word of God is so valuable to our health, both physically and spiritually. Jesus knew this. When temptation arises, the Word of God that you have memorised and meditated on will protect you. Holding His commands close to your heart shapes how you think, the choices you make, and the difficulties you overcome.

We can’t afford to miss a day in His Word.
