Recovery is stewardship.
Scripture reminds us: “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.” (1 Corinthians 6:19–20)
Addiction teaches us to use our bodies to escape pain.
Healing teaches us to care for them with intention and grace.
Learning to rest, eat, breathe, and choose sobriety again is not selfish — it’s sacred.
Every small step toward health is an act of worship.
You are not defined by what you’ve done to your body.
You are defined by the One who is restoring it.
