Front Shop Assistant โ€” GraceMed Pharmacy (Shelly Beach, KZN)

GraceMed Pharmacy is looking for a friendly, reliable Front Shop Assistant to join our community-focused team.

Key duties

โ€ข Warm, professional customer service on the shop floor and at point-of-sale (POS)
โ€ข Merchandising, shelf replenishment, pricing and promotional displays
โ€ข Stock rotation and expiry checks; basic receiving and binning
โ€ข Cash handling and daily till balancing
โ€ข Store housekeeping and opening/closing routines
โ€ข Signposting customers appropriately for pharmacist/clinic assistance (no scope-of-practice breaches)

Minimum requirements

โ€ข Reliable transport to and from work (essential)
โ€ข Able to work retail shifts, including weekends and public holidays
โ€ข Good communication and numeracy; confident using POS/computers
โ€ข Physically able to stand, move stock and perform light lifting
โ€ข Previous retail/pharmacy experience is an advantage

Working hours & remuneration

โ€ข Scheduled retail shifts within a 45-hour week; overtime only by agreement and remunerated per the Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA).
โ€ข Market-related salary, plus staff training and development opportunities.
