We really appreciate our Paediatric Ward and the huge responsibility they have. It's all about our amazing little patients who show us what true bravery looks like every single day. Our friends at Beekman Group brought a "shell-ebrity" to spend the day with our little nunus! Max the mascot stopped by to spread some love, handing out mini-Max plushies and plenty of high-fives.

Beyond the fun, these interactions serve a clinical purpose. Integrating therapeutic play and positive distraction helps release endorphins to boost the immune response and improve overall clinical outcomes by creating a supportive healing environment.

We’ve seen firsthand that a happy heart helps a body heal faster. Thank you to everyone who made these smiles possible. 🧡🧡🧡

We were honoured to join the Paddock and Plains Farmers Association meeting alongside COIDLink to discuss the "Injury on Duty" (IOD) process.

Mandy Sookrajh, Patient Administration Manager at Shelly Beach Hospital and Tjaart Bodenstein of COIDLink shared insights on how we’ve streamlined our paperwork and admission procedures to ensure that when an employee is injured, the path to recovery is as seamless as possible.

Our goal is to take the administrative burden off the employer so they can focus on what matters most: the health and well-being of their team. Thank you to the association for the engaging Q&A session! 🧡🧡🧡

Three years ago today, Dr. Mbanjwa & Dr Ramouthar had the honour of welcoming a beautiful baby boy into the world right here at Shelly Beach Hospital.🧡🧡
