Tomorrow night (25 May at 7:30pm), nonspeaking Autistic activist Zekwande Mathenjwa will be spelling his story at an online event. 😊

If you are a healthcare professional who serves Autistic people, especially nonspeaking or minimally speaking Autistic people, this event is not to be missed. Zekwande's life story will help inform the recommendations that you make for your Autistic clients.

If you are a parent, caregiver, educator or interested member of the public, you will gain a new perspective on nonspeaking Autism.

*2x ethics CPD points* will be awarded to healthcare professionals who attend.

Recently, we met with the founder of a local Autism Association who is providing support to the underprivileged areas in our community. This wonderful woman goes out into the impoverished areas and provides support at her own cost. Sometimes she runs out of data and has to go and sit at a restaurant, just to be able to continue providing the much-needed support.

We are therefore making a request for the following, to support their organization: If anyone knows of a cell phone / internet company who would be able to provide this person with an unlimited data package, please contact us at info@zekwandefoundation.co.za
