As 2025 comes to a close, our team will be taking a well-deserved break to rest and spend time with loved ones. ❤️

We want to say a huge thank you to all our wonderful patients for your support throughout the year. It has been a busy and blessed year and we are grateful for each of you that has trusted us with your health and wellness.

🩺 Why Pap Smears Are So Important for Women’s Health

A Pap smear is a simple, quick test that can save lives. It checks for changes in the cells of the cervix that could lead to cervical cancer. Detecting these changes early means they can often be treated before they become dangerous.

🧴🧠 How to Spot a Worrisome Skin Lesion: Know Your ABCDEs of Melanoma! 🩺☀️

Early detection of melanoma can save lives. If you notice a new mole or changes in an existing one, use the ABCDE rule to assess whether it may be suspicious:

🔍 A – Asymmetry
One half of the mole doesn’t match the other half. Benign moles are usually symmetrical.

🔍 B – Border
Look for uneven, scalloped, or blurred edges. Melanomas often have irregular borders.

🔍 C – Colour
Multiple colours (brown, black, red, white, or blue) in one mole can be a red flag. Uniform colour is usually safer.

🔍 D – Diameter
Moles larger than 6mm (about the size of a pencil eraser) should be checked—even smaller ones can be melanoma.

🔍 E – Evolving
Any change in size, shape, colour, or symptoms like itching or bleeding should be evaluated promptly.
