About Michelle
I have been a reflexologist for 20 years. Children hold a special place in all our hearts and their health is a priority for me! I am passionate about helping new moms and moms to be, both in feeling comfortable with their bodies, and with bonding and feeling confident with their new babies.
I am a thoroughbred Eastern Cape girl, who realized later in life that I am better suited to working in the healing industry, than being a Speech & Drama teacher. So I pursued my passion studying at the International Reflexology Institute in London, after having two children of my own.
Reflexology is a science that purports the principle that there are reflex areas in the hands and feet that correspond to all the organs in the body. By applying pressure to these areas we alter and clear blockages in the nerve endings, organs and glands.
The pressure helps circulation and oxygenated blood to flow into problem areas, thus encouraging optimum function.
