The hospital is housed in a purpose-built, modern, attractive building situated in the historic Paardevlei precinct. The convenient location close to the N2 and other main and arterial routes which makes access to the world-class, quality treatment facility even easier for residents of the Helderberg basin and surrounding areas. The team at Busamed Paardevlei Private Hospital have been at the forefront of Robotic Assisted Knee Replacement Surgery since 2018 and continue to be the only facility offering this technology in the Helderberg area. Our Emergency Centre operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is fully equipped to manage any medical emergency. Clinical care is provided by trauma trained doctors and nursing staff, with specialists on call should specialised treatment or admission be required. Busamed Paardevlei Private Hospital proudly hosted World Trauma Day at the Strand Lifesaving Club this past Saturday.

The event brought together local EMS teams, our Emergency Unit doctors, National Sea Rescue, and lifeguards for an interactive day of trauma-related demonstrations, expert talks, and hands-on activities.

It was an inspiring opportunity to share knowledge, strengthen collaboration, and promote trauma awareness within our healthcare community. 💙🚑

Busamed Paardevlei Private Hospital is pleased to announce and congratulate Dr. Charle Viljoen on the successful launch of the Faraview mapping system and Farapulse Pulsed Field Ablation technology, which took place at the hospital on Tuesday, 26 August 2025.

This advanced technology is now available to patients with atrial fibrillation, following the successful completion of two Pulsed Field Ablation procedures performed on the day.

Pulsed Field Ablation represents a safer and more precise treatment option for patients with atrial fibrillation. The Faraview 3D mapping system provides detailed visualisation of the atrium, enabling highly accurate delivery of ablations and enhancing procedural outcomes.

We extend our congratulations to Dr. Viljoen and the entire electrophysiology team for their role in this milestone. Together, we remain committed to investing in the latest technology and delivering the highest quality clinical outcomes for our patients.💙
