Busamed Paardevlei Private Hospital is a 100-bed acute hospital offering 4 modern, state-of-the-art operating theatres and a cardiac catheterisation laboratory to ensure that the local community have access to world class medical care right on their doorstep. The hospital is housed in a purpose-built, modern, attractive building situated in the historic Paardevlei precinct. The convenient location close to the N2 and other main and arterial routes which makes access to the world-class, quality treatment facility even easier for residents of the Helderberg basin and surrounding areas. The team at Busamed Paardevlei Private Hospital have been at the forefront of Robotic Assisted Knee Replacement Surgery since 2018 and continue to be the only facility offering this technology in the Helderberg area. Our Emergency Centre operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is fully equipped to manage any medical emergency. Clinical care is provided by trauma trained doctors and nursing staff, with specialists on call should specialised treatment or admission be required. Twin Sisters undergo successful Hip Replacements on the same day at Busamed Paardevlei Private Hospital

At 66 years young, twin sisters Mrs J. Koen and Mrs F. Geusteyn recently underwent successful hip replacement surgery on the same day, performed by Orthopaedic Surgeon, Dr Koos Jordaan at Busamed Paardevlei Private Hospital.

Sharing not only a birthday but now a surgical journey, the sisters supported one another through the procedure and recovery — demonstrating the power of family, resilience, and modern orthopaedic care.
