In a woman-centred organisation, it's impossible to ignore the impact of gender-based violence. At an organisation whose work interacts directly with women impacted by unplanned pregnancy, looking away from how sexual violence affects women in South Africa is not an option.

On Friday 21 November, women across the country are shutting down South Africa: they're saying, "enough is enough", men are saying "not in my name", and people of all genders are calling on our government to intervene urgently in the epidemic of violence against women.

To join the movement and show your support, you can:
🟣 Stay away from work on Friday 21 November
🟣 Avoid spending any money on that day
🟣 Wear black and change profile pictures to purple
🟣 Lie down in silent protest for 15 minutes at 12pm

Let's make it clear: women are precious, valuable, and deserving of care.
