The Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital is the third largest hospital in the world situated in Soweto, South Africa. It is a tertiary, teaching hospital that strives to provide quality healthcare services. Vision: To be the best provider of high quality, efficient and accessible health services to the people of Gauteng and beyond. Mission: Provide excellent, integrated and specialised services in partnership with stakeholders to contribute towards the reduction of the impact of poverty, vulnerability, burden of disease and injury/trauma. Provide quality training, research and dissemination of healthcare knowledge.

Our Human Resources Development (HRD) Department proudly handed over certificates to support staff, including cleaners and organised labour representatives. The programme included participants from both Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital and Bheki Mlangeni District Hospital, and was made possible through a partnership between Rivoni and Chieata.

The initiative aims to equip our staff with the skills and knowledge needed to enhance service delivery in their departments. Staff members received certificates in computer training, hygiene, and welding.
