Why Does Allāh Allow Bad Things to Happen to Us? PART 5

In Surah Kahf (18), Al Khidhr damaged part of a boat and explained to Moosa (AS) later on that it was to save the boat from a king who took every new boat.

Perhaps even for YOU, Allāh has given you a smaller damage in your life to save you from a bigger and serious damage.

Have patience and trust in Him. He is Al Aleem (The All-Knowing) and Al-Hakeem (The Wise)

Why Does Allāh Allow Bad Things to Happen to Us? PART 4

Looking at what Yusuf (AS) went through, you would think that some of what he went through was bad for him although it wasn't. For example,
1. being sent to prison, lead him to
2. interpret dreams, and then to
3. get the attention of the king, and to
4. be released and realise his dream.

You could look into your problem and you will see that there are certain things that happened because Allāh Al-Lateef was helping you *in very subtle ways you did not notice* and not making things worse.

Have patience and trust in Him. "He is Al-Lateef (The Subtle) to whoever (or whatever) He wants" - Surah Yusuf (12), verse 100

Why Does Allāh Allow Bad Things to Happen to Us? PART 3

In Surah Yusuf (12), verse 34, when the women invited Yusuf (AS) to immorality and threatened him with prison, he chose prison. And from prison, he rose to a high position in Egypt, realising his dream.

Sometimes a calamity *within* a calamity is a form of an answered dua, and not that things are getting worse.

It could be:
1. A form of protection
2. A redirection by Allah towards His Grand Plan for you.

Have patience, trust His process and His timing.

Why Does Allāh Allow Bad Things to Happen to Us? PART 2

In Surah Yusuf (12), Verse 21 we are told that Allah allowed Yusuf (AS) to be taken as a servant in Egypt in the household of the Azeez. And yet we know that Yusuf (AS) was a prophet from a line of prophets.

Similarly, you could be asking yourself why you had be disgraced through your problem. Allāh knows why and what is happening to you could be part of Allāh's Greater Plan.

In the same verse, Allāh says that He is in control of His affair. Have patience and place your trust in Him.

Why Does Allāh Allow Bad Things to Happen to Us? PART 1
In Surah Yusuf (12), Verse 6, Allāh mentions 3 things that He planned for Yusuf (peace be upon him) through his ordeal. It could be that Allāh has the same plans for you too. The 3 hidden blessings are:

1. Allāh might be choosing you for a specific/special role
2. Allāh might want to teach you a special skill
3. Allāh might want to perfect His blessings upon you.

Because Allāh is Al-Aleem (The All-Knowing) and Al-Hakeem (The All-Wise)
