On the 18th of December 2025, we were honoured to witness a truly special moment at Mommy Bear Birthing Home. Two bouncing baby girls, Bophelo and Tlotlisang, were born just one hour apart, each to their own incredible mommy โค.

What a rare and beautiful experience to share!

Congratulations to the amazing parents, Ricious & Kalven(Bophelo's parents) and Sebabatso and Atang(Tlotlisang's parents) on your individual blessings. May this new chapter be filled with endless kisses, warm cuddles, gentle moments, and the unconditional love that only motherhood brings.

My Journey as a Midwife & Founder of Mommy Bear Clinic:

I, Buhle Khumalo, hold a Degree in Nursing Science (General, Psychiatric, Community Nurse and Midwife) and am a proud member of the Sensitive Midwifery Independent Midwife Network. With extensive experience in nursing, womenโ€™s health, and baby wellness, my journey began with a simple love for helping people and making a difference in their lives.

During my training, I fell in love with midwifery. Becoming a mother myself deepened that passion. I understood firsthand how vital support is before, during, and after pregnancy. I believe that empowering women with information helps them trust their bodies, whether during childbirth or breastfeeding, and builds confidence in their journey.

That vision inspired me to start Mommy Bear Woman and Baby Clinic: a safe, nurturing space where families are celebrated, mothers are supported, and babies are welcomed with love. What I love most about being a midwife is witnessing the strength of women and the joy of new beginnings.

At Mommy Bear, our philosophy is simple yet profound: โ€œBorn in grace, cradled in care.โ€ This is the heartbeat of our clinic and the promise we make to every family we serve.
