The Far East Rand Hospital Dietetic Department is fortunate to conduct training for 4th year UP students.

The experience with the first block of students were extremely successful and the knowledge gained was invaluable.

Being told your child needs a feeding tube can be overwhelming. We understand. You may not know anyone else who has a child with a feeding tube. And the unknown can be frightening, especially when it concerns your child. You may have mixed emotions. It is a lot to take in, particularly if your child is experiencing other medical issues. This is why PEG awareness week was created to help address all your concerns.
