What does physiotherapy do with children ? The question we often get .

- When a child is not meeting developmental milestones we help to facilitate the physical development , common in premature, neonatal encephalopathy, and neurological disorders.
- Managing pain associated with sport injuries / other pain in children. Children feel pain and it needs to be looked at .
- We help with recovery after fractures - by retaining or improving movement in joints / teaching them to walk with assistive devices and improve them to walk independently.
- Chest physio when they can’t clear their airway or need to improve their lung capacity and function .
-strength training - after prolonged illness they experience muscle wasting and weakness , we help them recover to the highest level of function . We also help with recovery after surgical procedures.
