Vanoggend het Dr Frith die voorreg gehad om met die Graad R-leerders van Klapmuts Primary School te gesels oor wat dit beteken om ’n dokter te wees 👨‍⚕️.

Hy het verduidelik hoe dokters mense gesond hou en help wanneer hulle siek is.

Die kinders was vol vrae en drome – baie van hulle het gesê húlle wil ook eendag dokters word! 🩺

Ons sien uit daarna om oor ’n paar jaar ’n hele groep Klapmuts-grootgemaakte dokters te hê wat ons gemeenskap en land sal dien. ❤️

Klapmuts Medical Centre welcomes Dr Jessica Slabbert, who will be working with us on Fridays 🙂

Jessica was born in Port Elizabeth and raised in Pretoria, completing her medical degree at Stellenbosch University.

She is passionate about creating a space where patients feel genuinely seen, heard and cared for. Her approach to healthcare is rooted in empathy, thoroughness and open communication

She has special interests in paediatrics, women’s health, mental health and preventive medicine.

If you have any women’s health concerns and you would prefer to see a female doctor, you are welcome to book an appointment with Dr Jessie on a Friday 🙂🙏
