🧠 Mental Health vs Mental Illness — What’s the Difference?
It's easy to mix up these two terms, but they aren't the same thing.

🔹 Mental Health is your overall emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how you handle stress, relate to others, and make choices.

🔸 Mental Illness refers to diagnosed mental health conditions that affect your thinking, mood, or behavior in more persistent or severe ways.

Here are 5 key differences:

1. Everyone has mental health — not everyone has a mental illness.

2. You can have poor mental health without having a mental illness.

3. Mental illness often needs treatment like therapy or medication.

4. Good mental health helps you function, cope, and connect.

5. You can live well with a mental illness if you have support and tools.

🌟 Last Stretch of January: Here’s a few tips
January can feel like the longest month of the year. Here are a few tips to reset and finish the month on a positive note:

✅ Reflect, Don’t Regret – Adjust, don’t abandon your resolutions. Progress over perfection!
✅ Practice Self-Compassion – If you’re feeling stuck or behind, be kind to yourself. Progress isn’t always linear.
✅ Check In With Yourself – How have you been feeling? Journaling, talking to a friend, or even taking a pause to reflect can help.
