Happy birthday to Sacred Stasis 🤍 October, 8 years ago I started Sacred Stasis.  

My intention when I started studying was purely because I was hungry for information & truth.  I had no intention of ever using the studies for others, yet it all seemed to naturally unfold through a wonderful stroke of "luck."  Because it wasn't really luck. 

I often get wonderful messages from clients thanking me, but I often wonder whether each client knows how deeply grateful I am to them.  I get to wake up every single day and do something I adore because of every single client.  What most clients do not know is that I started Sacred Stasis at one of the most traumatic and difficult times of my life.  Not to sound dramatic, but knowing I had clients booked each day was the only thing that kept me going because I knew someone was counting on me that day, and while it's a time of my life I'd like to forget, I've always had this feeling that my clients saved me more than they will ever know.  Watching it grow from strength to strength & from one client to whole families coming to me is truly an honor I wasn't quite prepared for.
It is with such deep gratitude that I say thank you from the bottom of my heart to every single client that has, and that will cross my path.  You inspire me daily ✨️  I will always carry so much love in my heart for every single client.

The pain and trauma from your past are not trying to hurt you or destroy your life. It is trying to FREE you.
Sometimes, we experience something so painful that it changes us forever. This isn't a good or a bad thing. It does not mean we will be damaged forever and that we can not heal it. We can, and we must. That's the point. That is how we free ourselves.
These painful experiences can shape us to live our lives with swords out, always ready for battle.
That is not our natural state of being.
It is okay to protect yourself. It's okay to honor the warrior within that had your back for so many years, but there comes a time when we need to lay down our swords and allow ourselves to rest, to acknowledge the whole story instead of one chapter on repeat.
There comes a time for new beliefs to flow through you and into the future you desire.
There comes a time for us to breathe again 🪽

What I have learned from animals is that they excel in emotional intelligence.  As humans we know about a quarter of what they do about emotions and processing emotions.  We think we know, but we really don't.  We're only starting 'emotional school' where they have already written the books.  Their love knows no limits, their forgiveness is infinite and their loyalty is admirable.  I feel honoured to speak on their behalf.  They have wonderful personalities, and some of them are hilarious. They keep me giggling through an entire treatment.
We love them, we feed them, we spoil them... but how deeply do we really understand them?  How much of our stuff are they carrying to keep us healthy and happy?  Without asking anything in return.  Imagine being fully aware of this amount of love from the beautiful furry children that live in our homes.  They are our very own little group of care bears.
It is so important that we are aware of what they are feeling and what they are going through or carrying for us.  
In the same way that we give them happy homes, good food, toys,and love, we need to give them a voice.  We need to give them a chance to share what is going on in their internal world.  It is up to us to make sure that they are thriving energetically as well as physically. Sadly, we take notice when they are physically unwell.  We need to do better.  We need to give them more.  We need to try, for them.  It is imperative that we are aware of what they are feeling and experiencing in their lives and homes because they carry our stuff.  All the things we push aside for tomorrow, or sweep under the carpet, the little cough we have for weeks that won't shift, the amount of stress we are under.  They carry it all whether we are aware or not.
It is our duty to make sure that they are okay on an emotional level and energetic level. The depth of their love is so overwhelming that it often brings me to tears, happy tears. They bless this earth with so much beauty simply by being alive.
Let's show them that we, as humans are ready to learn from them🤍🩵🤍

When I stop struggling, I float. It is the law. 

Nothing good ever came from force.  It is an energy that actually pushes something away from us.  Whether it is a job, a friendship, a relationship, or a target at work.  The moment we step into the energy of force or chase, we start to create distance between ourselves and the very thing we want.  This energy is like tunnel vision, and most of the time, it is the wrong direction we are headed.  It is a hard and limiting energy.  It closes us off from every other option available to us. 

If an animal or human is being chased, what do they do?  They run away from  whatever is chasing them. 

When we move into a more gentle energy of trying our best and accepting the outcome, it immediately softens the energy around this experience.  It also keeps us open to an infinite number of surrounding possibilities.

Many, if not all of us, were raised on limited thinking.  If you have a couple limited thinking with force or chase, you are almost guaranteed not to get your desired outcome because of the energy you are creating.  If you couple openness with unlimited thinking, you are almost guaranteed to manifest your desire or better. 

Learning to get out of our own way is a valuable lesson we should master in our daily lives. 

More flow and float than force and push 🌊

There is a time for everything in our lives. 

There is a time to heal, and there is a time to live as a human.  

When we are going through a traumatic time in our life, we check out to an extent; detach or dissociate from ourselves.  We do this to survive what we are experiencing.  If the trauma is particularly bad, a part of us dies, and in the future, a new part will emerge.  This is the natural cycle of life.

In between these two stages, we can sometimes find ourselves in a strange liminal space.  Where we can feel like we're floating, or we don't know who we are or we feel alienated by those around us. We feel lost within our own lives. We feel different, and this can be scary.  But we will always circle back to ourselves somehow.

Life isn't meant to be perfect.  It's meant to be real, and with this comes breaking.  The heart aches, our life "breaking" or our health taking a dive, but this is an integral part of life to maintain balance and ensure growth.  These cycles are more about balance than before or after.  

We can never go back to who we were, nor are we meant to.  Because if we did, then we would never grow, learn, and evolve. 

Most of humanity is either 'all human' or 'all healing', both are equally unbalanced.

Often, we can get stuck in one of these phases of breaking or becoming and forget about the middle part.  The liminal space.  This is the perfect place for us to just be.  To live.  Be human.  Sleep late.  Eat dessert.  Have a party.  Shout.  Cry.  Love. Dance.  Enjoy all the things that come with the human experience and take a little break from the healing or the trauma.  Healing is still work.  It is inner work and often challenging, which is why most people opt not to do the work.  It is really about your individual journey because it is tailor made for you, by you.  The human part is just as important as the healing part. They go hand in hand.  

Find the balance within yourself and your own life 💎💎💎

Self-love is an umbrella that shelters all kinds of warm and gentle feelings towards ourselves. 

We hear this word all the time and that we have to love ourselves first.  Thanks...but how...where do you start?  What does it feel like?  But I do love myself... Do you though?  

If I asked you to first think about someone you love deeply, and then I asked you to tell me about the first time you realised that you were in love with this person, you would be able to tell me about the moment and you would be able to describe what it felt like.  To love someone in such a way that all you could think about is what is best for them. This is the point most people forget about themselves. 

Think about these two questions.  Feel all of these emotions rise up in the middle of your body, feel the warmth of it spread through, and feel the happiness it brings you.

Now I want you to tell me about the first time you felt this about yourself.  The moment you felt so complete, so free, so loved and so valuable.  

Can you remember this moment?  

Have you ever felt this for yourself before?

Because this person will be with you for the rest of your life...

It's not only about falling in love with ourselves.  It is about all the kind emotions and actions that fall under this umbrella.  The understanding, the loyalty, the trust, the action, and the peace.  It's about every small choice we make every day.  Is this food nourishing?  Is this person good for me?  Will this book teach me something new?  Will this hobby ignite a newfound passion? 

Heal until your default thought is "everything will be okay because I've got me..." 🤍🩵💙

Once you find your healing path, stay on it.  As long as you keep making little choices every day that are good for you in some way, you will stay on the healing path that is best for you.  Some people stumble across the healing path through nutrition or yoga.  Many come across the healing path when they have exhausted all other options or when they are backed into a corner of pain, be it emotional or mental.  Very few discover the healing path out of curiosity. 

Stick to choices that benefit you in some way.  Allow your reading material to teach or inspire you.  Allow your food choices to nourish your body.  Allow your hobbies to ignite passion inside of you.  Allow your friends and family to love you.  All these little daily choices keep you on the healing path that is right for you.

Often we get stuck in life and battle to move forward or decide what is right for us, sometimes we have no idea what we want or who we are or what makes us happy, and that is okay.  It is a moment in time that will not last forever, but it is up to you to try and shift it somehow.

🌊 Stop trying to reach enlightenment. You ARE enlightenment. You came here to be human. GET INTO YOUR HUMAN BODY AND BRING MORE OF YOUR SOUL INTO YOUR BODY! THAT'S ENLIGHTENMENT.

🌊 Stop trying grounding yourself 24/7 and ground YOURSELF INTO YOUR BODY. Then, ground yourself.  There's no point grounding your body if you're not in your body. 

🌊 PUT. YOURSELF. FIRST. IT IS NOT SELFISH. It is SELF PRESERVATION.  Animals do this instinctively. Why are humans not doing this?  Because we have been taught since the day that we arrived that we must not. Fire that person, please. 

🌊 Let's stop asking each other "How was your day?" and let's start asking each other "How did you FEEL today?"....because who really cares how your day was? 😄 

🌊 Healing gets "worse" before it gets better.  Keep going.

Always deam BIG.

10 years ago, I never would have dreamed that I would be where I am today because it was so much of a big dream.  It was so big in fact that I couldn't even dream it.  Yet looking back, I can see it was always within my reach, but my mindset and my beliefs were not.  Both my mindset and my beliefs were that limiting, that I never could have imagined being where I am today, let alone dream it. 

That's why this has become my most favourite phrase over the past few years. 

DREAM BIG, that's the whole point.  The whole point is to dream beyond your current capabilities. Otherwise, it's just a sugar-coated goal to trick yourself into believing that you're trying to achieve something.

Dreaming big isn't just a dream.  It's a secret code to challenge yourself, but I mean, really challenge yourself.  

It doesn't matter what others see when they look at your life.

They don't know your dreams.  They don't know who you were and how far you've come.  They don't know the depths of your being.  Only you know these things.  Your dreams are for you and you alone.  This is why it is imperative to dream big, in whichever way you need to, in whichever way means the most to you.

Dream big every day, and you'll go so much further than you thought possible.  And then keep on dreaming big just because you can 🩵🕯 🌊
