Dr Caryn Schubert

I am a Doctor of Phytotherapy and Naturopathy specialising in iridology. I studied at the University of the Western Cape where I obtained 3 Bachelors degrees namely: BSc (CHS), BCM (Phytotherapy) and BCM (Naturopathy). I studied iridology at the SA institute of iridology under the instruction of Dr Suzanne Haylett, where I obtained a Diploma of iridology, graduating with the highest of honours. I am treating acute and chronic medical conditions. My treatment methods include herbal based medication, nutritional supplementation, diet and lifestyle modification and appropriate bodywork as deemed necessary. I might also refer for blood tests or to a specialist should it be required. I have a strong passion and interest for both the strong healing power of Western Herbal Medicine and Irodology. Herbal Medicine minimises medication sideeffects, whilst the accuracy of iridology helps to determine the patient’s overall state of health and tendencies towards certain illnesses and their individual constitution. I have a special interest in supporting mental health problems from a medical perspective and have gained considerable knowledge in dealing with emotional conditions such as fatigue, depression, bipolar disorder and others.
