When should you check your hearing?

- Difficulty understanding speech.
- If you find yourself asking people to repeat themselves often.
- If background noise makes conversations difficult to follow.
- When your loved once notices a change in your hearing.
- A constant ringing or buzzing in your ears (tinnitus).
- or needing to turn up the volume on devices.

Adults (18–50): A baseline test is recommended early in adulthood, with a checkup every 3–5 years if there are no issues.

Adults (50–64): Testing every 5 years is recommended.

Adults (65+): Testing every 1–3 years is recommended.

Individuals with hearing loss: Testing should be done at least every two years to ensure management is appropriate.

To extend the lifespan of your device you need to place them in air tight container containing a drying capsule. Hearing aids come in contact with humidity and sweet and using drying devices is essential. Replacement of the the drying capsules is needed once it turns from bright yellow to pale yellow in colour.
