🌌 “Whispers of the Winter Solstice” 🌌
On the longest night beneath African skies,
The stars gather in silence, ancient and wise.
From the heart of the land where baobabs dream,
The earth hums low, wrapped in a moonlit gleam.
Flames leap in rhythm, shadows take flight,
As dancers spiral through the sacred night.
Feet kiss the soil in ancestral trance,
Circling fire, in a spirit dance.
Drums echo deep through the mountain air,
While voices rise in celestial prayer.
Eyes turn upward — the heavens reply,
With Jupiter shining like a throne in the sky.
Venus shimmers, wrapped in icy grace,
While Saturn moves slow in his golden place.
The Milky Way arches, a river of light,
Guiding the soul through the cold winter night.
Children trace Orion with smoky hands,
Elders speak of forgotten lands.
"We are stardust," one whispers near,
"And the solstice brings the ancestors near."
In chant and gaze, the veil grows thin,
The cosmos and earth dance deep within.
Africa breathes with the universe wide
A flame, a song, where time and stars collide.
