With the skin cancer incidence on the rise we also offer thorough skin cancer screening and excision of minor lesions, As Prevention is better that cure. We offer skin care for the entire family. Our rooms are situated in an easily accessible and wheelchair friendly medical centre opposite the Umhlanga hospital, in very close proximity to the Gateway shopping centre. There is plenty of onsite parking and security.

Key things to know if you’re on isotretinoin:
👉🏽 Dryness is the most common side effect
👉🏽 Lips: keep a thick petrolatum based balm on you at all times, DON’T lick them
👉🏽 Skin: use a gentle hydrating cleanser and moisturiser
👉🏽 Photosentivity: wear a broad spectrum sunscreen SPF 30+ daily , seek shade where necessary
👉🏽 Eyes: use recommended eye drops or artificial tears for relief
👉🏽 Don’t stop until your skin has been acne free for 2–3 months (duration is dose and weight dependant) — and your Dr has officially discharged you with a maintenance plan.

Protect your investment at all costs 🫡✨

When we say post-treatment care matters, we mean it! You can’t spend your hard earned money getting your skin professionally treated and then undo it all by:

Swimming season can be tricky for little ones with eczema 🏊🏽‍♀️ Summer heat and long exposure to the sun are major triggers!

Chlorine, heat and frequent water exposure can easily disrupt a child’s skin barrier and trigger eczema flares if the skin is not properly supported. With the right routine and the right products, swimming does not have to mean weeks of itchy, inflamed skin.

Think protection before, gentle care during and repair after. Applying a barrier friendly moisturiser before swimming can help limit chlorine pe*******on.

💦 Cleansing afterwards with mild, fragrance free washes removes irritants without stripping the skin.

🧴 Locking in moisture straight after with rich emollients helps restore the skin barrier and reduce flare ups.

☀️ Sun protection is just as important. Choose mineral based, eczema friendly sunscreens that protect sensitive skin without causing irritation.
