March brought muddy boots and big smiles as our Trailblazers took on two scenic walks.

On 8 March, Noel Jessup led a beautiful 8.5km route through Umdoni Conservancy with strong rivers and high spirits. Later in the month, the group set off from Lazy Moose in Clansthal, covering nearly 11km through the Canonbrae trails. Some returned via the beach while others braved the mud once more. Another great month of walking adventures for the Widenham Trailblazers!

At the Garden Club's March meeting, members enjoyed a wonderful virtual visit from Amanda in Texas via YouTube, as she guided them through the steps of growing a topiary. It was something a little different and truly inspiring for everyone! Mari followed with a live demonstration, giving members a clear, hands-on look at the process and how to bring it to life in any garden.
