With the open day for expecting mothers coming up at the hospital. We wanted to take this opportunity to remind mom's to be about how good it is to stay active during pregnancy.
Every pregnancy is unique and that is why it is important to clear exactly what would be safe for you to do and if there are any contra indications to take into account with your DR.
Physiotherapists can then help put that into action with you as well as make sure you are safe.
Moderate to vigorous physical activity is proven to be beneficial for both mother and baby in most pregnancies with the necessary modifications.
For uncomplicated pregnancy and low risk pregnancy, physical activity has many important health benefits.
