Senior Data Scientist

Minimum Requirements:

- Degree (Honours, Masters or PHD) in quantitative fields such as Actuarial Science , Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics and / or a combination of these.

- Professional certifications in data science and related technologies (e.g. Python, Azure, AWS, Spark, big data, machine learning, cloud infrastructure.

- A minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience leading or contributing to data science initiatives.

- Proficiency in Python-based machine learning frameworks and libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, SciPy) and familiarity with Jupyter notebooks.

- Strong SQL skills and a track record of working with large-scale datasets.

- Demonstrated expertise in applying machine learning techniques to solve real-world problems..

- Experience working within agile development teams and methodologies.

- Proven ability to operationalise data science models or data-driven product solutions.
