⚡ Power Strip Safety: It Can SAVE Your Family

Power strips are extremely useful in homes and workplaces — but when they’re old, overloaded, or damaged, they can quickly become a serious fire and burn hazard.

A single faulty plug point can cause:
✅ Electrical burns
✅ Shocks
✅ House fires
✅ Damage to appliances
✅ Unsafe situations during emergencies

🔥 How to Stay Safe & Prevent Electrical Burns

✅ Do not overload power strips with multiple high-power appliances
✅ Avoid plugging kettles, heaters, microwaves, irons, or fridges into extension plugs
✅ Never “double plug” (plugging one extension into another)

Rear-facing = safer every trip.

In a crash, a rear-facing car seat supports your toddler’s head, neck and spine together — spreading crash forces across the entire back of the seat.

Because toddlers have relatively heavy heads and developing necks, turning them forward-facing too soon can place much greater strain on the spine.

If your child is still within the rear-facing height and weight limits of their seat, keep them rear-facing. It’s one of the simplest ways to add an extra layer of protection.
