Exciting times:

Jahara Treatment Centre is seeking to fill the position of a qualified male social worker preferably with a minimum of 5 years experience.

The role of the social worker is to uphold the requirements of treatment and ensure that Jahara maintains the highest level of compliance and service. The social worker will also fulfil the role of counsellors and case load manager.

This can be a live in position if need be. Salary is based on industry standard and in accordance with relevant experience.

Supporter series - What we got from Survivor

This years survivor was one of the best. Not just because of all the work and extra effort of the staff but because the residents surprised us and touched us deeply with their recovery approach to the game.

One could not have imagined this level of impact that was found through this experience for everyone of them. It showed a deeply embedded recovery culture that embraced the principles of recovery and helped people shine.

Lesson were learnt that could never be taught in group therapy, one on one sessions or through step work.

I for one am so grateful to be apart of it and to witness how the light shines and changes lives as we go through experiences that highlight there is more to life than selfish ambition.
