🚴‍♀️Functional training for cycling performance:

Functional training is all about improving strength, stability, mobility and neuromuscular control in ways that directly transform to cycling performance - helping the athlete get faster, stronger and reduce injury risks.

What we are focusing on here:

🚲Unilateral (single leg) training - since cycling is primarily a single-leg dominant sport, as well as reducing muscular imbalances.
🚲Rotational control - improving bike handling and stability
🚲Posterior chain activation - preventing the dominance of quads and supporting the lumbar spine.
🚲Hip power - to enhance climbing and acceleration.
🚲Core stability - improving posture and power transfer.

✨️These functional exercises target the key demands of cycling: hip stability, core endurance, single leg strength, power transfer, and posture control.
