After growing up and matriculating in Upington, I studied Speech and Language therapy at the University of Stellenbosch. I moved back home to work at the Dr Harry Surtie Hospital. This was an amazing learning experience with the most supporting colleagues which really shaped me into the confident speech therapist I am today. ions were limited in the Northern Cape for a speech therapist, I moved to Gauteng where I gained ample experience in the education sector and special education. Here, my love for children and advocating for the most vulnerable began to spark. When a post became available in the Northern Cape Education sector, I knew I had to apply as I have been longing to make a difference in the communities I grew up in. I have seen a dire need for speech therapy services in my hometown and living out my passion in assisting children to participate fully and be included throughout the spheres of their lives has been a dream come true! From 2024 I will be providing private speech and language therapy services to the Upington community and surrounding areas. I specialise in AAC, developmental disorders, and feeding. I am also a certified dyslexia diagnostician. I truly believe everyone deserves a voice. Let me help you find yours!
