“Power training is essentially training your maximal human potential & strength is an incredible asset to have as we age"

Strength allows us to do many things.
But power? Power lets us react to things. Usually, we associate power with chiseled physiques, mostly because of the adaptations that occur in the body when we do enough power training.

This week, we will be focussing on power & breathing during our workouts. Aligning our bodies correctly and moving smoothly through each exercise. Poor form can prompt injuries and slow gains, which we don’t want!

Working at the right tempo helps us stay in control rather than compromise strength gains through momentum.”

We look forward to seeing this week at any of our venues, Meyerton or Vanderbijlpark!

This Weeks Fokus:

"Full-body workout"

Physical activity can improve your muscle strength and boost your endurance. 

Exercise also improves mental health by reducing anxiety, depression, and negative mood and by improving self-esteem and cognitive function.

Exercising outdoors provides all the physical benefits of indoor exercise (blood flow, improved cardiovascular health, improved strength, flexibility, endurance, etc.) and can also provide vital exposure to sunlight that increases important levels of vitamin D, unlike indoor exercise.

Outdoor exercise can help ward off seasonal affective disorder (SAD), depression and anxiety because sunshine naturally increases serotonin, a hormone that affects your mood. And exercise itself produces endorphins, another feel-good hormone that boosts your mood and reduces pain. It challenges your body.

The only downfall of outdoor fitness is when the weather is not playing along. We rather cancel a session than risk our participants slip and get injured or get sick from the rain. We will always keep you posted on if the session is on or not. Always weather dependant.

We will be at .malan from 18h00 to 19h00 tonight! See you there🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏽‍♂️🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏽‍♂️
