We hope everyone has been keeping warm and healthy this winter ❄️ Here are some tips to boost your immune system for the rest of season:

🍊 Drink plenty of water: during winter we tend to drink less water because of the colder weather, but don’t forget to keep hydrated.

🍊 Exercise regularly: 30 minutes of exercise 3-5 times per week is important for our physical and mental health and boosts immunity.

🍊 Get your flu vaccine: ask your nearest GP, nurse or pharmacists for this year’s flu vaccine. The vaccine protects against Influenza A & B. All pregnant women, adults and children older than 6 months can get the vaccine.

🍊 Get enough sleep: sleeping for 7-9 hours per night is essential for good health and immunity.

🍊 Supplements: consider taking a supplement during the winter containing the following immune boosting ingredients:
• Vitamins: A, C, D, E
• Selenium
• Zinc
• Echinacea
• Pelargonium

Only a month and a half to go until spring 🌸 hang in there!

It is important to do breast self-examinations every month in order to detect changes in your breasts. KNOW YOUR LEMONS is a non-profit organisation dedicated to the early detection of breast cancer through their user friendly app.
