MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT.
NEW ST HELENA BAY ROAD.

This morning West Coast Medical Rescue rssponded to reports of a vehicle that left the roadway and overturned.

Upon arrival Paramedics assessed one patient with moderate injuries before transporting the patient to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

R45 OUTSIDE MALMESBURY
DIRECTION HOPEFIELD.

West Coast Medical Rescue responded to reports of a collision involving a light motor vehicle and a truck on the R45 direction Hopefield just outside Malmesbury.

Reports from Scene indicate a Light motor vehicle collided with a truck.

One patient was treated on scene and will be transported to a nearby hospital for further care.

One lane obstructed

HOUSE FIRE.
ESPERIA, VREDENBURG.

This morning West Coast Medical Rescue Responded to reports of a house fire in Vredenburg.

En route Saldanha Bay Fire Services were activated. Upon arrival it was established the house was fully engulfed in flames. One child was found lying on the driveway with obvious smoke inhalation and was in a serious condition.

West Coast Medical Rescue paramedics assessed and treated the child on scene before transporting the child to a nearby hospital for urgent care.

We would like to applaud the neighbor who did not think twice to enter the burning house to save the child who was still in the house.

The fire was brought under control quickly by Saldanha Bay Fire Services.

The cause of the fire remains unclear.

We keep the family who lost all their belongings in our thoughts and anyone who would like to donate anything can getvin touch with Esperia Neighbourhood watch.

The scene was handed over to SAPS

TAKING HANDS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PATIENT.

This Morning West Coast Medical Rescue assisted Netcare911 Specialized Aeromedical Helicopter to transfer a Critically ill patient to a Specialized trauma Hospital in Cape Town.

We would like to wish the patient a speedy recovery and thank you to Life West Coast Private Hospital and Netcare911 HEMS for the great teamwork to move this very sick patient in a safe manner.

MASS CASUALTY INCIDENT.
N7 PIKETBERG.

On Friday afternoon West Coast Medical Rescue responded to reports of a truck carrying people overturned on the N7.

Upon arrival Metro EMS Rescue was busy with rescue efforts to free patients who were trapped under the wreckage.

More than 35 patients were treated on scene and transported to hospital with Minor to critical injuries. One patient was airlifted by Western cape goverment health AMS Helicopter to Cape town whilst 3 other patients were transported in Critical condition by West Coast Medical Rescue road ambulances under Advanced Life Support care.

Metro EMS transported multiple other patients to different hospitals in the area.

Thank you to Metro EMS and Metro Rescue aswell as Bergrevier Fire and Rescue for great teamwork and collaboration on scene.
