HEAVY MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT.
N7 OUTSIDE MALMSBURY DIRECTION MOREESBURG.

West Coast Medical Rescue and Metro EMS together with Swartland Fire services responded to reports of a collision involving a vehicle and two trucks.

Upon arrival four patients were assessed for minor injuries whilst one patient was rushed to hospital with private transportation.

One lane is obstructed, please approach with caution.

Fortunately no injuries were reported on scene.

R45 DIRECTION MALMSBURY.

West Coast Medical Rescue is currently on scene at a collision involving a light delivery vehicle and truck on the R45 before Malmesbury.

Two patients were treated on scene and will be transported to Crestcare Malmsbury Hospital for further care.

SAPS and Metro rescue on scene.

DROWNING INCIDENT.
LANGEBAAN MAIN BEACH.

West Coast Medical Rescue is currently on scene at a drowning incident on Langebaan main beach.

Reports from scene indicate an adult male was recovered from the water by a kite surfer after he was found unresponsive.

NSRI Lifeguards initiated CPR efforts on scene before Paramedics from West Coast Medical Rescue took over Resuscitation efforts.

Unfortunately after extensive efforts by everyone the patient was declared deceased on scene.

Langebaan SAPS and Metro EMS also on scene.

Our thoughts are with family of the deceased.

As we approach the end of 2025 we reflect on the year that passed.

Here's to a great year in 2026 and we would like to thank the greater community for entrusting West Coast Medical Rescue to assist with Medical Emergencies.

SUCCESSFUL RESUSCITATION.
PATERNOSTER WATERFRONT.

This afternoon West Coast Medical Rescue responded to reports of a patient that reportedly collapsed and became unconscious at Paternoster Waterfront.

Reports from bystanders indicated the patient seemed to have chocked whilst eating and collapsed becoming unresponsive.

Immidiate bystander CPR was initiated whilst Paramedics responded.

Upon arrival Paramedics and Bystanders continued with CPR and Paramedics initiated Advanced Life Support interventions.

After a few more cycles of Advanced Resuscitation efforts ROSC( Return of Spontaneous Circulation) was achieved.

West Coast Medical Rescue transported the patient to a nearby hospital for further intensive care.

We wish the patient a speedy recovery keeping the patient and family in our thoughts and prayers.

Once again Immidiate bystander CPR has proven crucial in this case.

We thank the bystanders who started CPR immediately and commend them for their great work on scene.

VREDENBURG.

West Coast Medical Rescue received reports of a serious collision on Saldanha Road at Scotts nursery.

Multiple Ambulances were dispatched to scene aswell as Metro EMS Rescue.
Upon arrival three patients were treated for injuries before being transported to a nearby hospital.

Saps and Saldanha bay fire and traffic services attended the scene.

MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT.
VELDDRIF.

Earlier this afternoon West Coast Medical Rescue and Metro EMS responded to reports of a collision involving three vehicles.

Three Advanced Life Support Ambulances from West Coast Medical Rescue arrived on scene and assessed multiple patients with injuries ranging from moderate to serious.

All patients were transported to a nearby hospital for further care.

Thank you to Metro EMS ,Bergrivier Fire and Traffic services aswell as SAPS for the prompt assistance on scene.
