We continue to use hand-picked fresh ingredients to create products that contain potent healing cleaning disinfecting, and beautifying properties. Many of these ingredients are combined with rich Organic oils and skin-loving Tallow. Our products are handmade without any severe heating or hydrogenating processes that can affect the nutritional content and potency of natural ingredients. Vitamins are captured in their all-natural fresh base, offering dramatic results as actual seeds, pulps and peels impart regenerative and healing powers that only nature can produce. We have a small MINIMALIST, MULTI-USE range of products because Roodt believes in keeping it simple. Meet the maker 🤍

Hi, I’m Amanda Roodt, one of the hands and hearts behind Roodt Made by Nature.
What started a few years ago as a part-time soap-making hobby slowly grew into something much bigger when I became a cloth-diapering mom seven years ago. That’s when everything clicked 🌱

With my soaping background, I rediscovered Boerseep — the ultimate weapon against stubborn cloth-nappy stains. As a mom who actually used cloth nappies daily, I began creating products that truly worked, while still being kind to our planet. And just like that, Roodt Made by Nature was born.

Over time, I realised Boerseep deserved a glow-up. No more dull, plastic-wrapped bars hidden away. I wanted to bring beauty, intention, and a touch of luxury to something as ordinary as a laundry bar.
So I refined the formula, reimagined the branding, and turned Boerseep into something both powerful and beautiful because moms deserve a little glamour, even while doing laundry.

From thoughtful packaging to a space that feels welcoming and exciting, every detail is created with care. Because choosing better for our families shouldn’t feel boring it should feel good.

Long before Roodt Made by Nature had a name, Martin was already deep in the world of soap-making. What began as a passion for natural, well-made products slowly turned into years of hands-on experience and quiet mastery.

When Amanda stepped into cloth diapering, Martin’s skills naturally became part of the journey. Together, they began crafting products that didn’t just clean well they aligned with their values of simplicity, sustainability, and care for families and the planet.
Martin is the detail-driven half of the brand. From sourcing quality ingredients to refining each formula and process, he believes good products are built with patience, consistency, and respect for nature.
