Its been said that time will never return but education will remain throughout your life.

As a health and safety Professional we pride ourselves to be the reason that people can go home to their families injury free, but we simply cannot guarantee that by only identifying problems but not resolve them.

As per the OSH act 85 of 1993 of South africa we have a legal obligation as employers to do anything reasonably practicable to ensure a healthy and safe working environment for people.

Our aim here at Colsaf consultanting is to ensure that the training we give enables workers to be ready when there is an occurrence that would possibly end their lives.

As from 1 March 2023 the national minimum wage has been increased to R25,42 per hour including the remuneration of domestic workers.

Earnings thresholds:

Did you know that all employees are subject to the BCEA (basic conditions of employment act including being paid overtime, leave days due etc.)

Section 6 of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act makes provision for the Minister of Labour to publish a determination on the advice of the Commission that will exclude employees earning above a certain amount per year from sections of chapter 2 of the Act. Chapter 2 primarily deals with the regulation of working hours of employees.
