You'll always be able to recognise an Old Soul because of this -

Old Souls are not drawn to having a lot of stuff around them. Many of them get on fine without a lot of material things. Money is good, but an Old Soul will use it to help others.

An Old Soul is okay to be alone and won't be lonely because of it. They seek connection but with like-minded Souls and can intuitively feel their way through relationships. They aren't here to belong to anyone because they belong to the Universe.

Old Souls will always be in service, using their healing or intuitive gifts. Many have come to anchor light and to teach others to do the same. Some have come to mentor and guide, and others to heal and all are deeply connected to Spirit. Old Souls love everything Spiritual because they know that there is no separation.

They've done the ambitious thing in past lives and they have no desire to compete for the spotlight. They simply show up and wish the best for everyone. They aren't interested in politics and the media and can see through anything that is not the truth.

They love animals (sometimes more than people) and can lose themselves in nature, often connecting deeply and easily to the elements. This isn't 'woo-woo'. This is Old Soul energy that understands that religion is not Spirituality.

Old Souls are here to finish off their Souls journey on Earth and they are steadily working through unfinished business and contracts leaving some deep hurts and disappointments. But Old Souls know that this is all temporary and can let go and forgive without creating scars.

In a time where we should be more connected than ever, we aren't, and judgement becomes a real thing when we struggle with anxiety, competition and imposter syndrome.

The thing is, judgement is a lower vibrational experience. It triggers disconnect and disharmony and when we need it the most, it separates us from who we truly are.

A trick that I have learnt is to watch it go. Sort of like a trickle (or a gush depending ...) and then to recalibrate and hit that pause. It's not always easy to do because our brain wants to find a place for everything.

Pause and breathe and thank and release. It gets easier so give it a try and always remember that you have been created as a perfect being. It's you that stands in the way of that truth.

I recently decided to plant grass in my front lawn. It's actually something that I should have done ages ago, but ...you know ... life and all that. 😆

Anyway this morning I was watering the grass and I was fully present, picturing the grass growing and sending good vibes to all those little grassy roots. It suddenly occurred to me that my late husband's ashes had been covered up and the small circular garden with our wedding stones wasn't there anymore. 💚😔

In a moment of nostalgia, I felt a tearful tug at my heart strings. I also fleetingly wondered what Ken thought about the garden now. He was an avid gardener and things look so different now.

As I turned around to put the hosepipe away, I saw a monarch butterfly flippity flopping towards me. 🦋 I fully expected it to land on me but it brushed past my face and flew off into the bright sky.

Monarchs are Ken's sign of love and support. It's his way of saying 'hey baby, I'm here and it's okay'.

I now expect great things from this grass 😁 and on a more serious note, I'm eternally grateful for the calm encouragement from Spirit.

We're not doing this alone. Our loved ones in Spirit will find a way to show up for us and in the gentlest and most creative ways ❤️

When things aren't flowing, pause for a minute and take a deep breathe. Know that the answer already exists. You only need to remember and to do this, you need to be quiet. It'll come as your first intuitive feel. This is because the direction you're looking for exists as a vibration in your Akash.
