Good morning Beautiful πŸ’•

What is doubt?

Doubt is a visceral emotion that clouds your body, mind and soul into thinking you will fail - it is such a limiting emotion and can bring your body out of balance very quickly!

At times I have felt this unkind emotion and I have found some useful ways to address it. So if you are feeling doubtful about your abilities, or current path, give the following a go -

* pamper yourself
* surround yourself with motivating friends
* remind yourself of your successes
* read inspirational passages
* excercise and flex the body
* meditate on releasing these emotions

Here is a wonderful meditation to use:

If you have been diagnosed with either hyper or hypo thyroidism it's very important to look at the relationship between your *Thyroid* and your *Liver*

To support your thyroid, it's also important to support your liver!

*Did you know*
Your thyroid uses a sonar frequency and scans the body continuously looking for chemical or hormonal imbalances. It then act as a messenger and advises what hormones and chemicals are needed for the body and in turn makes a request via the liver for these hormones and chemicals to be produced! What a miraculous organ!

Bacteria and viruses love to find a home inside the thyroid, often accumulating heavy metals and chemicals further disrupting these signals.

The following supplements are great to offer support to the thyroid:

* Vitamin D
* Olive Leaf
* Vitamin B
* Zinc
* Spirulina
* Lemon Balm
* Ashwaganda
* Magnesium

When your mind, body and soul is tired what do you do?

Do you slug back an espresso and put pedal to the metal? Or do you honour it and allow yourself to take a pause?

Self-care is not a luxury, it's a necessity - but for most it's become an obscene phrase... A difficult task...

Who told you that you weren't enough? That you didn't matter?

Why do you make excuses to put everyone and everything else before you and your inner health?

Why do you think that you don't deserve to heal and grow?

Taking a break, experiencing timeout, allowing yourself to rest has incredible benefits towards your health and state of mind - by resting and relaxing you...

* decrease stress
* improve mood
* lower blood pressure
* assist pain relief
* strengthen immune health

Resting your body, mind and soul can be:-

a 5 minute meditation;
a 10 minute walk in nature;
a 15 minute power nap;
a 20 minute soak in the bath

Begin today by carving out some time for you! Make the change today because you truly deserve to live your best life ✨

A very dear friend shared this recipe with me - and it's now my absolute favorite!

Cooked with stir fry it's a tasty sweet and sour sauce, used cold it's great as a dipping sauce for spring rolls, roasted potatoes - and to me it really tastes like tomato sauce!

"Plums are an excellent source of Vitamin A, C, B-6, & K. Plums are also rich in minerals such as iron, manganese, potassium, phosphorous, and magnesium. The magnesium in plums works as a natural tranquilizer which can sooth your nerves and also work as a catalyst to reinstate your natural REM sleep.

Some of the benefits from eating plums on a regular basis include improved vision, radiant skin, healthy brain functioning, regulated digestive tract, reduced inflammation, resistance against colds and infections, and improved metabolism. Plums are especially good for digestive disorders such as IBS, gastritis, and constipation." A William

Proteins and fats are important building blocks for the body, however if your body is starved of glucose you cannot effectively use the protein or fat that you have been consuming. Think of glucose as the vehicle that drives the protein and fat through your metabolism!

Glucose also provides many other benefits such as:
- Protects the nervous system
- Stops the brain from shrinking
- Builds muscles
- Protects the heart
- Is vital for liver function
- Protects the adrenals
- Helps you cope with stress
- Is critical for healing
- Feeds every cell in the body

That's why it's so important to bring glucose into your diet every day!

The best places to find glucose are in the following foods:

- Fruit *
- Raw Honey
- Potatoes and sweet potatoes
- Winter squash
- Coconut water

*Tips*

> ensure that you have 1 date every time you eat - especially if it contains fats, oils or protein
> avoid fats, oils and proteins in the morning - only bring into the diet from midday
> include potatoes, sweet potatoes or squash with your dinner

* Please note if buying dried fruit avoid those coated in sugar or preserved in sulphur dioxide.

I know what it's like to have a body that feels sluggish, tired and overweight...

I know exactly what it's like to feel overwhelmed, anxious and filled with doubt...

I also know what it's like to bring balance back into my body and light back into my life ✨

I get that most of you feel that good health and living the life you deserve is out of your reach - When I weighed 92kgs and was battling with irregular blood pressure, pre-diabetes, constant heartburn, constipation, fibroids, anemia, eczema, elevated anxiety, depression along with continuous panic attacks - getting healthy seemed to be out of reach for me too...

All I had to do was take my first step towards making better choices for my health and then I followed it up the next day, and then the next - as my fatigue diminished and the brain fog cleared it became even easier to navigate this path of healing 🀍

Getting healthy and finding balance is a process...
It's a journey...
It's one step at a time...
And you are worth every step 🫢🏻

*Stuffed Bell Pepper Wedges*

*Ingredients*

ΒΌ cup finely chopped or grated onion

1 tbsp fresh oregano or thyme leaves or 1 tsp dried
2 ripe bell peppers, cut into thin wedges

Preheat the oven to 350Β°F/180Β°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Place a medium ceramic skillet on medium-high heat and add the onion. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes, until soft, adding a bit of water if needed to prevent sticking.

Grate the potatoes and squeeze out any excess liquid. Add the potatoes, garlic powder, paprika, red pepper flakes or cayenne, and oregano or thyme to the pan. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes to remove some of the moisture. Set aside until cool enough to handle.

There is a beautiful documentary called *"What the Bleep do we know?"*

The premise of this documentary is "that the universe is best seen as being constructed from thoughts and ideas... That matter is not solid, and electrons are able to pop in and out of existence without it being known where they disappear to."

But only watch if you are open to explore a space you might never knew existed - one where ALL possibilities exist ✨

Hey Mango πŸ₯

*Did you know?*

Eating a mango before bed restores neurotransmitters that aid insomnia episodes whilst the antioxidants and minerals reduce stress, support the skin and combat pathogens πŸ’ͺ🏻

Mangos are a true miracle food that act as a potent sleep aid, antiviral agent and brain supporting nutrient dense fruit πŸ˜‹

Here's a breakdown of all their benefits -

*Miracle Sleep Aid* Mangoes contain phytochemicals and amino acids (glycine, glutamine, cysteine) that, when combined with natural sugars, travel to the brain to restore depleted neurotransmitters.

*Antiviral & Immune Protection* Mangoes are effective against viruses and help protect the body against stress-induced damage.

*Brain and Nervous System Support* They provide essential glucose and trace minerals to the brain, helping with cognitive function.

*Gut Health & Digestion* The pulp acts as a soothing agent for the stomach and intestinal lining, helping to alleviate constipation.

*Blood Sugar Management* Despite being sweet, they are considered a helpful tool for managing hypoglycemia and type 2 diabetes by stabilizing blood sugar.

*Mineral-Rich & Anti-Cancer* Rich in beta-carotene, they help prevent various cancers, including skin, lung, and prostate, while providing highly bioavailable trace magnesium.

*Exercise Recovery* They are an ideal "exercise food" because they provide essential sodium, glucose, and magnesium to muscles, reducing fatigue and pain.

And eating food that heals is where true health lies 🌈
