Jenna Dias Conscious Living Conscious Parenting and Life Coach | Registered Counsellor | Neurofeedback Practitioner | Mom to Boys

I am a Wife/Mom/Counsellor and I just LOVE understanding people, human behaviour and how the brain works. For the last 15yrs I have worked as a Registered Counsellor in either clinical or private practice, schools and corporate. I use tools like Neurofeedback, Brain Work Recursive Therapy, EQ Training and Play Therapy alongside traditional counselling. My core focus is to help both big and little people understand themselves and their emotions better and help teach them better ways to self-regulate and cope. My latest journey and where I find my heart full is in helping teach moms and dads -but mostly moms- about re-parenting self; parenting your children and managing to do it all with a smile or two more.

Conscious parenting is often misunderstood — not because it’s complicated, but because it asks us to look inward.

It’s not a parenting trend or a set of techniques.
It’s an invitation to self-awareness, accountability, and growth — the very things we value most in meaningful relationships.

🗓 Every Monday at 10am (South African time)
📍 October Health App

This Monday, 19 January, we’ll explore What Conscious Parenting Really Is and why it begins with the parent, not the child.

If you’ve ever felt curious, resistant, or even judged by the idea — this conversation is for you. 🌱

🌿 The Parent You Bring Into 2026: Leading With Intention at Home

As we enter a new year, many of us reflect on our goals, careers, and performance. But one area that quietly shapes everything else is how we show up at home.

Parenting doesn’t reset with the calendar.
Without reflection, we carry the stress, patterns, and reactions of the previous year straight into the next.

Join me on Monday, 12 January 2026 at 10am (SAST) inside The Forest on the October Health app for a free live session:

💬 The Parent You Bring Into 2026
🌿 The Calm Connection — Raising Connected, Conscious Families
💸 Free | 📲 Available on the October Health app

In this session, we’ll explore:
• Reflecting on how 2025 shaped you as a parent — professionally and personally
• Identifying which habits and reactions no longer serve your family system
• Making intentional, sustainable parenting shifts that support regulation, connection, and resilience

How we lead at home directly impacts how our children — and we — show up in the world.

Let’s begin 2026 with awareness, responsibility, and intention — not autopilot.

🎄✨❤️
Thank you for every bit of support, connection, and love this year.
Whether you came to listen on a Monday online, shared a post, sent a message, or simply followed along quietly — it has meant more than you know. 🤍
My office is now closed for the year, and I’ll be back in 2026 with fresh energy, new talks, workshops, and even deeper support for your conscious parenting journey.
I can’t wait to walk into the new year with you.

Before we wrap up, here are a few gentle reminders to carry into the holiday season:

✨ 1. You don’t need to be perfect — just present.
Your child remembers connection more than corrections.

✨ 2. When you’re overwhelmed, slow the moment, not the child.
Pause, breathe, then respond.

✨ 3. Regulate you first.
Your nervous system sets the tone — softening yours softens the whole home.

✨ 4. Boundaries are love in action.
They protect your energy and give your child emotional safety.

✨ 5. Repair matters more than rupture.
A sincere “I’m sorry, let’s try again” models the emotional maturity you want them to grow into.

If this year stretched you, taught you, broke you open, or expanded you — you’re not alone.
Here’s to a gentler, softer 2026 for you and your family. 🌿✨

With gratitude,
Jenna_Conscious Living!

Parenting on empty always comes at a cost.
When we’re stretched too thin, the stress in our home starts rising with us — quietly, subtly, but unmistakably.
The tone changes. The patience fades. The atmosphere tightens.

Not because we’re failing…
but because we’re human.

Your home doesn’t need perfection — it needs you supported, resourced, and grounded.

So pause.
Take one breath that belongs only to you.
Come back to yourself before you go back to them.
That tiny act of self-return can shift the energy in your entire home. 🤍

Parenting when you’re running on empty.
Because let’s be honest… end-of-year parenting hits different. 😮‍💨🌿

Everyone’s tired.
Everyone’s stretched.
And suddenly the smallest things — the lunchbox left open, the whining, the mess — feel HUGE.

It’s not that we’ve “lost control.”
It’s that we’re operating from an empty tank… and still trying to meet everyone else’s needs.

If you’ve been snapping quicker, feeling irritated, or just trying to hold it together — you’re not failing.
You’re fatigued.
And fatigue makes even the calmest parent feel undone.

💬 Parenting When You’re Running on Empty
🌿 The Calm Connection — Raising Emotionally Regulated Families
💸 Free | 📲 On the October Health app

We’ll talk about:
🧠 Why end-of-year tension hits parents so hard
💬 How stress, fatigue, and overload affect your reactions
🌱 Gentle ways to regulate yourself when your tank is empty
🤝 How to create micro-moments of calm when life is chaotic

You don’t need a perfect routine or endless patience.
You just need a little space to breathe…
and permission to be human.

You’re doing the best you can with what you have —
and sometimes, that’s the bravest thing of all. 💛

✨ Parenting on Empty — A Gentle Reminder ✨

If you’re feeling worn out, overstretched, or beyond capacity right now… I want you to know this: nothing is wrong with you.
This time of year pulls at every thread — emotionally, mentally, physically. And parents, especially, carry so much that goes unseen.

This reel is your permission to pause.
To breathe.
To soften back into yourself.

You don’t need to be motivated.
You don’t need to be “on top of things.”
You don’t need to get it all right.

Sometimes the bravest thing you’ll do all day is simply show up — tired, human, imperfect… and still choosing love.

If today finds you on empty, let this be your reminder:
You can begin again at any moment.
You can rest without guilt.
You can take it one tiny step at a time.

You’re doing so much better than you think. 💛

Why is this so hard?
The truth about raising kids (and ourselves). 🌿

Parenting isn’t hard because we’re doing it wrong.
It’s hard because it asks us to meet parts of ourselves we’ve spent years avoiding.

Every meltdown, every “no!”, every overwhelming moment…
is less about our child’s behaviour
and more about the tender places inside us that get activated.

If you’ve ever wondered,
“Why does this feel so big?”
you’re not alone — and there’s a reason.

We’ll explore:
🌱 Why our reactions feel so intense
💬 How our emotional history shapes our parenting today
🤝 Practical tools to stay grounded and connected
✨ How raising children is really a journey of raising ourselves

You don’t need to be perfect.
You just need to be present.
And brave enough to look within. 💛

Why is this so hard?
The truth about raising kids (and ourselves). 🌿

Parenting isn’t hard because we’re failing.
It’s hard because it pulls us into the parts of ourselves we’ve spent a lifetime trying to outrun.

Every meltdown.
Every “NO.”
Every triggered moment…
is less about their behaviour and more about the tender, unhealed places inside us that get activated.

If you’ve ever thought,
“Why does this feel so big?”
you’re not alone — and there is a reason.

Here are a few gentle anchors for the next time it all feels too much:

✨ Pause before you personalize.
Your child isn’t giving you a hard time — they’re having a hard time.

✨ Name what’s happening in your body.
“I’m overwhelmed.”
“I’m tightening.”
“I’m getting flooded.”
Naming it softens it.

✨ Lower your voice, soften your face.
Regulation is contagious — in both directions.

✨ Repair beats perfection every time.
You don’t need to get it right. You just need to reconnect.

✨ Remember: big reactions point to big needs.
Often ours. Often theirs. Always human.

You’re not doing it wrong.
You’re just doing something incredibly brave: raising a child while healing yourself.

🌿 Boundaries: The Hardest Love You’ll Ever Learn
✨ The Calm Connection — Raising Connected, Conscious Families ✨

In today’s fast-paced world, boundaries are more than rules — they’re the foundations of emotional safety, clarity, and healthy connection.

I’ll be hosting a free live session on the October Health app inside The Forest:

📅 Monday, 24 November 2025
⏰ 10:00 SAST
💬 Boundaries: The Hardest Love You’ll Ever Learn
💸 Free to attend | 📲 Available on the October Health app

In this session, we’ll explore:
• Why boundaries are a vital form of love and leadership in parenting
• How boundary challenges stem from our own emotional patterns
• Practical, conscious strategies to set boundaries that support connection rather than conflict

When we redefine boundaries through awareness and compassion, we strengthen our homes, our relationships, and our capacity to lead with calm and clarity.

✨ I can't remember where I heard these words that stuck. Purpose. Meaning. Alignment. What a way to be living life.
There’s a deep shift that happens when you stop forcing your way through life… and start aligning with what lights you up.

When you love what you do, you naturally show up with more clarity, energy, and intention — purpose becomes a byproduct.
And when you do what you love, something even more powerful happens… your life begins to feel meaningful in a way that no achievement or title can manufacture.

This is the heart of conscious living — returning to the work, relationships, and rhythms that feel true. 🌿

If you’re ready to reconnect with your purpose, create meaning, and build a life that reflects who you really are… you’re in the right place.

💬 Tell me in the comments:
What’s one thing you’d do more of if fear wasn’t holding you back?

Follow for more tools, guidance, and gentle reminders on conscious parenting, purpose, and aligned living. ✨

🌿 The Hidden Roots of Parenting Struggles: Understanding Your Reaction

✨ The Calm Connection — Raising Connected, Conscious Families ✨

In a world that constantly pulls us toward stress, speed, and disconnection — calm isn’t something we find, it’s something we create. 💚

Join me Monday, 17 November 2025 @ 10am (SAST) inside The Forest on the October Health app for a free live session:
💬 The Hidden Roots of Parenting Struggles: Understanding Your Reaction
🌿 The Calm Connection — Raising Connected, Conscious Families
💸 Free | 📲 Download the app to join

We’ll explore:
🌱 What lies beneath our parenting triggers and reactions
💬 How to shift from reactivity to awareness
🤝 Simple ways to nurture calm and connection in everyday family life

When we begin to understand our reactions instead of judging them, we break old cycles — and create homes that feel safe, steady, and deeply connected. 🌤

12/11/2025

Every trigger holds a quiet invitation — not to control our child, but to meet ourselves.
When we pause and look within, we see that what hurts isn’t their behaviour… it’s the wound the moment reopens inside us.

Breathe.
Soften.
Heal that place — and the energy in your home begins to change. 🌿

✨ It’s not about fixing the behaviour. It’s about freeing what’s beneath it.
