Jenna Dias Conscious Living Conscious Parenting and Life Coach | Registered Counsellor | Mom to Boys

I am a Wife/Mom/Counsellor and I just LOVE understanding people, human behaviour and how the brain works. For the last 15yrs I have worked as a Registered Counsellor in either clinical or private practice, schools and corporate. I use tools like Neurofeedback, Brain Work Recursive Therapy, EQ Training and Play Therapy alongside traditional counselling. My core focus is to help both big and little

people understand themselves and their emotions better and help teach them better ways to self-regulate and cope. My latest journey and where I find my heart full is in helping teach moms and dads -but mostly moms- about re-parenting self; parenting your children and managing to do it all with a smile or two more.

🌿 The Power of Repairing with Your Child

In the rush of modern life, it’s easy to focus on behaviour, discipline, and getting it “right.” But the truth is — parenting isn’t about perfection. It’s about what happens after the rupture.

Every disconnection, every raised voice, every missed moment is not the end of the story. It’s an opportunity.

Repair is the moment your child learns:
“I am still safe, even when things go wrong.”
“I am still loved, even when we struggle.”
“Relationships can bend… and come back together.”

It’s in these moments — not the perfect ones — that trust is built, emotional safety is restored, and resilience is formed.

Join me on Monday, 4 May 2026 at 10am (SAST) inside The Forest on the October Health app for a free live session:

đź’¬ The Power of Repairing with Your Child
🌿 The Calm Connection — Raising Connected, Conscious Families
💸 Free | 📲 Available on the October Health app

Together, we’ll explore:
🌱 Why rupture is inevitable — and why repair matters more than getting it “right”
💬 What repair actually looks like (and what it doesn’t)
🤝 Practical, grounded ways to reconnect after conflict, disconnection, or misattunement

Because it’s not the absence of mistakes that shapes your child —
it’s how you come back together afterwards.

🌿 The parent you bring into the home.
How Connection Shapes Every Parent-Child Moment

In the rush of modern life, it’s easy to focus on behaviour, discipline, and outcomes. But beneath every reaction, meltdown, or power struggle lies something deeper: attachment.

Attachment is the invisible thread that shapes how safe, seen, and supported our children feel — and it’s built (or strained) in the smallest everyday moments. Every glance, every tone, every response either strengthens that bond or signals disconnection.

Join me on Thursday, 23rd April at 8pm inside The Forest on the October Health app for a free live session:

đź’¬ How Connection Shapes Every Parent-Child Moment
🌿 The Calm Connection — Raising Connected, Conscious Families
💸 Free | 📲 Available on the October Health app

Together, we’ll explore:
🌱 How secure attachment forms — and why it matters for lifelong emotional resilience
💬 The link between connection, behaviour, and your child’s nervous system
🤝 Practical ways to strengthen attachment, even during conflict and hard moments

When we prioritise connection, we aren’t just influencing behaviour — we’re shaping our child’s internal sense of safety, belonging, and worth.

Loving the Child in Front of You

In a world filled with comparison, milestones, and expectations, it’s easy to lose sight of the child right in front of us. We begin to parent through the lens of who we think they should be — rather than who they truly are.

But our children are not projects to perfect or reflections to manage.

They are individuals with their own temperament, pace, and needs.

When we hold onto expectations and comparison, we create pressure — for ourselves and for our children. When we release them, we create space for connection, acceptance, and a deeper understanding of who our child really is.

Join me on Monday, 20 April 2026 for a live session:

đź’¬ Loving the Child in Front of You
🌿 Release expectations, projections, and comparison to meet your child with acceptance and respect
💸 Free | 📲 Available on the October Health app

Together, we’ll explore:
🌱 How expectations and comparison shape the way we see and respond to our children
đź’¬ The impact of projection on connection and behaviour
🤝 Practical ways to meet your child’s temperament and needs with greater awareness and acceptance

When we learn to see our children clearly, without the filter of who we think they should be, we begin to build a relationship rooted in trust, respect, and true connection.

Strong Roots, Safe Limits

In the intensity of everyday parenting, boundaries can easily become battlegrounds — filled with resistance, power struggles, and frustration. But beneath these moments is something deeper: a child’s need for safety, clarity, and steady leadership.

Limits are not meant to control our children — they are meant to anchor them.

When boundaries are unclear, inconsistent, or driven by emotion, children feel unsettled. But when limits are calm, grounded, and predictable, they create a sense of safety that allows children to trust, regulate, and cooperate more easily.

Join me on Monday, 13 April 2026 for a live session:

đź’¬ Strong Roots, Safe Limits
🌿 Discover how clear, grounded limits create emotional safety and mutual respect

Together, we’ll explore:
🌱 Why children need boundaries to feel safe — not controlled
đź’¬ How to move from reactive discipline to calm, steady leadership
🤝 Practical ways to hold limits without disconnection or power struggles

When we lead with clarity and calm authority, boundaries stop feeling like conflict — and start becoming the foundation for trust, respect, and emotional security.

🌿 Raising Brave, Not Fearless

In a world that often encourages children to “be fearless,” we can unintentionally send the message that fear is something to avoid or overcome. But fear is not the enemy—it’s a natural and important part of being human.

True resilience isn’t about eliminating anxiety. It’s about supporting our children to move *through* fear with connection, self-trust, and regulation.

Join me for a free live session where we explore how to raise children who are not fearless—but brave:

đź—“ Monday, 30 March 2026
⏰ 10:00 AM (SAST)
📍 The Forest | October Health App

In this session, we’ll explore:
• Why anxiety and fear are essential to healthy development
• How connection supports a child’s ability to face challenges
• Practical tools to help your child build resilience and self-trust
• The role of co-regulation in navigating fear

When we shift from trying to remove fear to supporting our children through it, we empower them with the confidence to face life’s challenges with courage and inner security.

🌿 What is Conscious Parenting?

So much of parenting is shaped by what we’ve inherited — patterns, beliefs, and ways of responding that often run on autopilot.

Conscious parenting invites us to pause, reflect, and choose a different way. One rooted not in control or perfection, but in awareness, connection, and growth — for both parent and child.

Join me on Thursday, 26 March at 8pm (SAST) inside The Forest on the October Health app for a free live session:

đź’¬ How your own triggers, patterns, and nervous system shape your parenting
🤝 Practical ways to parent with more awareness, connection, and intention

Conscious parenting isn’t about getting it right all the time — it’s about showing up with awareness, repair, and a willingness to grow.

🌿 From Explosion to Expression: Rethinking Anger in Families

In the rush of everyday life, anger can feel overwhelming — something to suppress, avoid, or react to. But beneath every outburst, shutdown, or power struggle lies something deeper: a message waiting to be understood.

Anger isn’t the problem — it’s a signal. And when we learn to listen differently, we create space for connection, emotional safety, and growth within our families.

🤝 Practical tools to model healthy emotional expression and co-regulation

Bullying isn’t just about “bad kids” or “weak kids.” It’s a signal — of unmet needs, nervous system stress, or learned patterns.

And vulnerability doesn’t mean weakness — it’s an invitation to grow resilience, empathy, and inner strength.
