💙 Pap Smear: Small Test, Big Protection 💙

A Pap smear is a quick, routine exam that checks your cervix for abnormal cells that could lead to cervical cancer. During the test, a trained nurse or doctor gently collects cells from the cervix and sends them for analysis.

📅 When should you go?

🌸 Postpartum Tip: Managing Sore Breasts

Why it happens: A few days after birth, breasts may become full, firm, and sore due to engorgement.

If breastfeeding:
✅ Nurse often on both breasts
✅ Express a little milk before feeding to help baby latch
✅ Warm compress/shower before feeding
✅ Cold compress between feeds
✅ OTC pain relievers may help

If not breastfeeding:
✅ Wear a supportive bra
🚫 Don’t pump or express milk
✅ Apply ice packs
✅ OTC pain relief if needed
