Rental accommodation
The organisation provides the following types of rental accommodation:
(i) Edenpark Assisted Living
48 Assisted accommodation units (28m²), offer assisted living services. Residents share a bathroom and kitchen and resident is only subsidized in this form of accommodation if approved by the Department of Social Development. (ii) Edenpark Independent Living
83 Independent accommodation units (ranging from 36m² to 55m²). 58 Bedsitters units (36m²) with a bedroom and living area, kitchen and bathroom and 25 couples units (55m²) with a bedroom, separate living and dining area and bathroom. (iii) Eden Palms Assisted Living
12 bedrooms each with a private bathroom. Attractive communal lounge and dining room. Passive exercises for residents. Intercom call system and emergency phone system in each bedroom and bathroom. (iv) Eden Palms Frail Care
33 beds in Frail Care are supervised by professional nurses.. Communal lounge and dining area for frail care residents. Occupational therapy, physiotherapy and private medical visits at residents own cost. Edenpark Life Rights
Edenpark Retirement Village offers a choice of 144 Life Right Units either I, 2 or 3 bedrooms. They consist of a lounge-cum-dining room, kitchen, bathroom (s), courtyard, and either a garage or carport. A monthly levy is charged. This and the price is determined by the m² of the life right unit. The sozes of the units are 1 bedroom (65m² - 102m²); 2 bedrooms (80m² - 189m²) and 3 bedrooms (183m² - 201m²). With Life Rights, you will receive 80% back of the original (initial) purchase price on vacating the unit. Senior Services
Edenpark Retirement Village houses a fully functional senior service centre. The Oasis Senior Centre was established in 1982 and has been delivering services to the elderly of Witbank (Emahlaleni) and the broader community for over 30 years. The Oasis Service Centre houses a number of facilities such as a health clinic, social work services, dining room, hair salon, communal hall, communal lounge, library, privately run convenience shop, chapel, conference room, braai area, transport services, laundromat, and postal services. Health care services
The Oasis Health Clinic provides registered nursing staff who assist with the medical needs of residents and members from the community at the Oasis Health Clinic. Monitoring of blood pressure and blood sugar is essential. Wednesday is foot care day, a firm favourite. Clinic sisters visit residents that are infirm and do aftercare for residents recovering from illness or surgery. The Clinic sisters also do community services for those in need. Social workers support individuals and their families through difficult times and ensure that vulnerable people are safeguarded from harm. Their role is to help improve outcomes in people's lives.
