Creating mega bulk orders is no joke, but it is an immense feat to feed so many with high quality meals no matter how simple or extensive the requirements, budget and numbers are.

What an honour and privilege to cater for the in the Ashley Kriel Hall, community house.

My ancestors have been part of the struggles in this country, due to racism and colonialism, and to play some part in uplifting the experience of those attendees- who have played a role in challenging the apartheid systems, striving for greater opportunities and enforcing equal human rights for us.

Thank you to the team who stepped in and helped fill 80 plates with love in the form of:

- Artisanal spinach, feta and caramelised quiches

- Butter chicken curry, with fragrant basmati rice and a pickled carrot, herbed cucumber and tomato salad

- Carrot, Pineapple and walnut cake, with lemon glaze and sesame sprinkle

Why settle for the standard woolies stop off, or arriving to a picnic with 4 different potato salads on the table, when you can have an array of foodporn-worthy delights, canape and finger foods -catering for everyones different diets.

We've set our standard to creating food that is delectably delicious, super appealing to the eyes and will have your guests scrambling to the tables.

This was literally the POV for this delightful baby-shower picnic, theme: casual and colourful!

We incorporated healthy snacks, with a bunch of artisanal dips, with some fan favourites like samoosas, bobotie tartlets, spinach and feta quichs, juicy meatball skewers and ofcoarse exotic seasonal fruit and fresh veggie stick platters.

A whole lot of yummy yummy yummmmay!!😋🤤😍

When your basket of ingredients include a top class Italian chef, a health-infused food alchemist, 2 rustic farm kitchens, fresh local produce and a bunch of free-spirited global citizens, once can only imagine the magic and welcomed mayhem that is about to be served.

In creation with my darling for the .spirit.of.creation retreat was truly special. Such a rare opportunity to have this maestro in our midst and more so, for me, to get to cook with, under and above this epic man.

To find flow with another, to have an unspoken trust and highly spoken respect for one anothers craft and abilities translated into taste explosions, especially with the fusion of both of our culinary backgrounds and cultural influences.

We are planning some big things to come, let's call them... 'Deeply sensual experiences for you to experience' 🤩🤤😋

Toasted brioche bun, crispy chicken thighs, spicy Korean BBQ sauce, umami mayo, crunchy summer slaw, thick slice of melted mature cheddar- served with rustic fries.

Summer Solstice loving in Sedgefield
What an absolutely fantastic time with so many friends , as we came to enjoy conscious commune-living together for 10 days in December, to welcome in the long summer days and shift in season.

This meant lots of deep conversations, meaningful interactions, daily dancing and movement, shared healing and support, delicious meals and treats to be had and all the creatives coming to life and sharing in their own ways.

Love Kos Mos was part of the amazing food offerings, keeping attendees satiated, stimulated, grounded or hydrated 🩷

Don't mind me ..just some sexy servings for today's private luncheon...

Crumbed mushrooms, with a parsley cucumber creamed labneh and fresh sprout garnish.

Queen of Cajun prawns, on a bed of sourcream and garlic lemon reduction.

Vegetable and bean tomato soup, served with crispy charcoal sourdough dippers.

Fresh cod line fish, on a bed of garlic and butter steamed rice, fresh sprout salad and tangy Zambeziana sauce.

Sizzling slices of beef fillet, topped with garlic portobellimo mushroom sauce and crispy rosemary butter potato wedges.

Dessert was an Indian saffron rice pudding called Kheer, with almond slices, coconut cream and cardamom 🤤

Food has always been at the heart of community. Food brings people together on the shared enjoyment, nourishment and pleasure found in this fundamental thing that powers the human, creating common unity between us- community.

The ultimate peak of chef life for me is the ability to alchemize ingredients to something sexy, tantalising and densely nutritional, to be absorbed, only to then alchemize moods and feelings in others, building stronger connection.

A deep and delicious weekend spent with the incredible space holders ❤️

It's been a thrilling time creating bespoke plates and aligning with a more sophisticated type of food artistry, cooking with different meats and showcasing the flavour profiles that are infused and carefully paired with veg, sauces, marinades and textures for the most exhilarating experience in each bite.

Special orders by for their halaal customers. High quality, organic, halaal meat supplied by cooked to perfection.

- Moroccan Chicken kebabs, with charred onion and peppers, with herbed sautéed Rosa tomatoes, on a creamy bed of fresh sprouts and minty tzatziki.

- Sizzling beef rump, with a garlic and balsamic jus, oven baked crispy jacketed potatoe and a creamy mushroom and truffle coconut cream sauce. (Sprouts and salad to be added after a flash roast).

- Yummy bruschetta, with creamed Burrata, fresh basil pesto and herbed sauteed tomato.

Throwback to an impromptu, super fun and joyful vegan cooking workshop for the wonderful yogi's at Kundalini 1-week Yoga Retreat.

These pictures are really testament to how enjoyable it was, flavoured with personalities and everyone's contribution.

We focused on creating two vegan dishes that are aligned to Satvic Ayurvedic principles, using accessible ingredients like sunflower seeds, red lentils, herbs from the garden to create something so darn delicious from scratch.

We made a vegan cheese spread, and lentil (gluten-free and vegan friendly) pancakes.

What a nourishing experience! 🥰🫰🏽
