Eleanor Murray Residence We care for our residents. Fees are affordable. We are a Non-Profit Organisation providing accommodation to those who cannot afford to live somewhere else.

We solely rely on donations and grants which contribute towards the upkeep of the Residence.

On Women's Day, we honor the exceptional women of Eleanor Murray. Our staff's unwavering commitment to our residents' well-being is truly inspiring, and we appreciate your dedication to maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. The love and care you bring to your work are evident in every aspect of our residence, from the delicious meals prepared by our cooks to the kindness and warmth of our women residents. We welcome Pauline Vackier to Eleanor Murray and wish her a long and happy stay. Thank you residents for their kindness in making her feel welcome. This week has been exceptionally busy. We celebrated Alida's 80th birthday. A Springbok Rugby Thursday event was held, where staff and residents dressed for the occasion. Uncle Chris provided musical entertainment on the piano, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Donuts and cupcakes, in green and gold, were generously donated. Our sincere gratitude is extended. Today, our residents received a safety and security talk from two policemen and food donations from Groote Schuur hospital in commemoration of Mandela Day.

We bid a fond farewell to Aunty Sue Moss on 1 July as she embarked on a new journey to an old age facility closer to her loving daughter. We will deeply miss this quiet lady whose warm smile could light up a room. We wish her a very happy and long stay in her new home, knowing that our Father will lovingly guide and protect her every step of the way.

With great sorrow, we said our final goodbye to uncle George Murray this morning, who passed away peacefully last week. Uncle George had experienced a stroke some time ago, following which his health began to deteriorate. George was a consummate gentleman and had a profound love for music. We will sorely miss uncle George's presence at the head of the dining room table. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. Uncle George will be deeply missed. Goodbye uncle George.
