Big upgrade at our practice! 👣✨

We’re excited to show off our brand-new rehabilitation stairs — an important tool we use as part of our Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs). These stairs allow us to objectively assess a person’s ability to manage real-world tasks like stair climbing in a safe, controlled, and standardised way.

But here’s something you might not know…

💡 Did you know we have a dedicated space for Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs)?

A Functional Capacity Evaluation is a comprehensive, standardised assessment that measures a person’s physical, cognitive and psychosocail abilities and limitations. It helps determine what tasks you can safely perform at work or in daily life.
✔️ Ideal for individuals recovering from injury or surgery needing to know what they are safely capable off
✔️ Helpful in return-to-work planning or placement in the workplace
✔️ Often used for medico-legal assessments or disability evaluations for insurance purposes
✔️ Provides clear, objective insight into functional ability

Ons harte is seer om vandag te hoor oor die afsterwe van André du Preez, Silver Fox Snake Rescue.
Na 'n duim besering in 2023 was hy 'n pasiënt by ons, maar hy het sommer vinnig 'n vriend geword en iemand wat gereeld by die praktyk ingeloer het.

Omdat ons met hande werk, kon ons ook lekker met André gesels oor byt plekke en insidente waarvan ons weet, en was hy 'n groot bron van kennis en raad.

Worcester het vandag 'n groot verlies gely, maar ons d**k veral aan sy vrou, van wie hy met soveel liefde gepraat het, sy gesin en familie. André sal nie vergeet word nie.

Baie dankie vir almal wat vanjaar ons pad gekruis het, 'n verwysing gestuur het, self 'n pasiënt was of net lekker saam met ons gewerk het!

Our practice specializes mainly in hand - and upper limb rehabilitation, physical - and neuro rehabilitation, geriatrics, driving and community mobility and functional capacity evaluations, although we are open to exploring other areas of interest.
