Today marks , an annual moment to bring awareness to this disorder, the sixth leading cause of disability experienced by approximately 46 million people worldwide that affects up to 1% of South Africa’s population. SADAG actively supports the goal of World Bipolar Day to inspire a global shift in thinking that will eliminate social stigma and promote acceptance, and encourage people to seek help and support.
