Twelve years ago, when I brought a little Leo home from the shelter, I always told Anita how much I wished I could take him to work with me. No matter where I was working, the thought of him lying by my feet all day was my little dream. It felt like the most wonderful thing that could ever happen.

Today, as I sit in my home office, I hear my 12-year-old Leo snoring softly behind me. He shows up to "work" with me every morning at 9 a.m., taking breaks when I do, and snoring away while I talk to clients. Sometimes he gets grumpy when I close the door, scratching at it until I open it, only for him to return to his cosy spot. Some of my clients even know him by name and, when they hear the scratch, ask, "Is Leo knocking again? Does he need you to open the door?"

As I sit here watching him, it hit me – this is a dream come true. That small wish from years ago is now my reality. I have exactly what I dreamed of—my old boy right here with me every day.

My message to you today is simple: never stop dreaming, even about the small things. They may take time, but they will come to life. And when they do, be aware, be mindful, and above all, be grateful. Dreams, big or small, matter. Keep believing. Keep dreaming.

In life, just like on a bike, the key to staying balanced is forward motion. We all hit bumps along the way—challenges, setbacks, moments that make us want to stop and throw in the towel. But it’s in those moments that we need to keep moving, even if it’s at a slower pace.

🚧 Struggling with Boundaries? I’ve Been There Too 🚧

Let me share something personal: I used to think being available all the time made me reliable and loyal—especially at work. I prided myself on being the one who’d take calls late at night and handle tasks no one else wanted. Sound familiar?

What I didn’t realise was that I was being taken advantage of. My fear of rejection turned me into a people-pleaser, and avoiding conflict became my full-time job. 😅 The problem? It never served me. It only drained my energy and hurt my personal life.

But once I learned to set healthy boundaries (and stick to them!), everything changed. 🌟 I started to value my time, my energy, and most importantly—myself. I finally stopped feeling guilty about saying “no.”

If this sounds like something you’re struggling with too, here are 3 powerful tips that helped me:

✅Know Your Limits: What are your non-negotiables? Figure them out!

✅Communicate Clearly: Don’t assume people know your boundaries—speak up!

✅Stand Your Ground: It’s okay to say "no" more than once. Your time is yours.

💡 Why are boundaries so important?
They’re about more than just protecting your time. Setting healthy boundaries lets you build better relationships, prevent burnout, and gain more control over your life. When you put yourself first, everything changes for the better. ✨

If setting boundaries feels hard for you, know that you can change that story. It starts with small steps. 💪
