Single Parents/Single Adults Seminar

Yesterday the 26th April at Choma Central Church, we conducted a seminar for Single Parents and Single Adults.

Single parents face significant challenges, primarily revolving around: financial strain, severe time constraints, and the emotional burden of raising children alone. In some places they even face social stigma.

They often juggle multiple roles, handling all household, caregiving, and financial responsibilities without a partner, leading to high levels of stress, burnout, and limited “me” time.

Despite these challenges, Single parents often demonstrate: strong resilience and adaptability in managing multiple roles. They become good in close parent-child bonds due to shared experience, and also become resourceful in finding creative solutions to financial and emotional hurdles.

We motivated them to stop being cry babies and become responsible to life because there is no reverse gear in life. God will provide for them and make them achieve the unexpected.

Single parents and single adults need our support.

“It’s a matter of faith”

In Hebrews 11:1 the Bible says: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” The power of faith makes you see what others cannot see, it makes you to hear what others cannot hear. If you will wait for everyone to believe, feel and experience the power of faith that is shaping you; then your faith might be dead. Divine faith is real, please go for it without measure and make it become visible that everyone of us will see, feel and eventually praise God Almighty.

Spiritual Inspiration with Dr. Josephat Hamoonga

“As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love” (John 15:9, NKJV).

Do you have staying power? We often visit God in prayer instead of staying with Him. We often visit Jesus Christ in prayer instead of staying with Him. We often visit the Holy Spirit in prayer instead of staying with Him.

It is time to develop the staying power in Christ’s love. The idea of being forced to love Christ is not divine; we must decide to love our Savior willingly because of what he has done and what he will keep on doing.

Persistence in prayer, persistence in the study of God’s word, and persistence in divine fellowship is always by individual choice.

If you are to enjoy divine grace; linger a little longer in the unconditional love of Christ.
