Cervical cancer is mainly caused by the Human Papillomavirus (HPV), with 99% of cases linked to HPV infection.

The HPV vaccine, given between ages 9–14, helps prevent cervical cancer later in life. Make sure you take your children to the nearest Healthcare Centre for the vaccination.

Cervical cancer can be prevented and treated when detected early. Regular screening helps save lives. Women all ages are encouraged to get screened every 3-5 years, women with HIV or other conditions affecting immunity are advised to screen more frequently, as recommended by a healthcare provider. remember early detection serves lives.

Team Hillview successfully conducted an HIV outreach program at St Margaret’s UCZ Church, focusing on HIV awareness, PREP and PEP sensitization in line with this year’s theme: Overcoming Disruption, Transforming the AIDS Response.

We recorded a positive turnout from the congregation, exceeding our target and reaching 135 community members with HIV testing and other health services.

We extend our gratitude to the church leadership, management, and Dr Kangwa for the continued support towards community health initiatives.

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Intern Radiographer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in performing diagnostic imaging procedures (X-ray, Ultrasound support where applicable).
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during procedures.
• Maintain imaging equipment and report any faults.
• Ensure accurate record keeping and proper handling of patient files.
• Support the radiology department in day-to-day tasks.

Qualifications
• Diploma or Degree in Radiography (or currently completing final year).
• Registered or eligible for registration with the Health Professions Council of Zambia (HPCZ).
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and patient-handling skills.
