Iam really enjoying fasting. So far, I have lost about 15kgs (Last weighed on 16th November 2023) and I started fasting on 27th September 2023. In my eating window, I normally eat whatever Iam craving though there are times when I go for health food choices.

If dieting is hard for you coz you have to give up certain foods e.g carbohydrates which you enjoy eating, I recommend Fasting. Some Authors of books on Intermittent fasting have written that what really matters with fasting is not "What you eat" But "When you eat" Meaning if you do intermittent fasting for weight loss purpose, you can eat the food you normally eat and still be able to lose weight. Just don't over eat to make up for missed meals.

To lose weight, we need to stay a certain period of time without feeding our body with food (i.e fasting) so that it gets to use the food (fats) it has stored.

Eating constantly means insulin Levels are ever high in the body and as long as insulin levels are high, the body can never burn the stored up fats. Hence, not being able to lose weight.

What makes us gain weight is if the body keeps on storing fats which it never gets to use because we are constantly eating.
