This morning we had the privilege of visiting Emmanuel Pre-School, a community school supported through PLAEP’s programs in Mufuchani.

The school was established to help children in the community who had limited access to education, giving them an opportunity to return to school and continue learning in a supportive environment. Through this initiative, many young learners are being given a stronger foundation for their future.

The tour was led by the Executive Director, the PLAEP team, and visiting partners from the United States, who are currently in Zambia as part of the activities leading up to PLAEP’s 20th Anniversary celebration.

During the visit, the team shared meaningful moments with the children through singing together, presenting gifts, and participating in a symbolic tree planting activity, representing growth, hope, and continued investment in the future of the community.

Moments like these remind us of the power of partnership and the impact that education and community support can have in transforming lives.

Yesterday we had the honor of hosting our partners and sponsors who traveled to Zambia to witness firsthand the impact of PLAEP’s work ahead of our 20th Anniversary celebration tomorrow.

The tour included visits to the school, clinic, and community, where the life-changing impact of the programs can be seen through the stories of families and women empowered through different programs and initiatives.

The visit was led by the Executive Director and the PLAEP team, who shared insights into the organization’s journey, the progress made over the years, and the vision for the future.

We are grateful to our partners who continue to stand with us as we celebrate 20 years of transforming lives and strengthening communities.
